How do I get the pattern after I buy it?

It’s an instant download. The PDF is yours the moment the payment goes through — you’ll get it from wherever you bought it, whether that’s Etsy, Ravelry or LoveCrafts. Nothing gets posted to you, and there’s nothing to wait for.

What do I actually get?

A PDF you download and keep. Every pattern is written row by row with step-by-step photos, and formatted to read comfortably on a phone as well as printed. Length varies by pattern — the exact page count is listed on each pattern’s own page.

Are the patterns in US or UK crochet terms?

US terms, in English. If you’re used to UK terms, the conversion is worth keeping to hand: a US single crochet is a UK double crochet, and so on up the scale.

What skill level do I need?

Most of my patterns sit between beginner and intermediate, and each one states its own level on its page — a few are genuinely beginner-friendly first projects, others assume you’re comfortable with shaping. Nothing is written to be clever at your expense.

What sizes are included?

It depends on the pattern, and the exact range is always listed on its page. Garments are graded properly rather than scaled up as an afterthought — the women’s garments commonly run to 3XL or 4XL, and the Wellerman men’s sweater goes to 7XL across ten sizes. Inclusive sizing is the point, not a footnote.

What does "positive ease" mean?

It’s the difference between the finished garment and your own measurement — how roomy the piece is meant to be. A sweater written with 4–6" of positive ease is designed to sit loose, so you choose your size from the finished-chest number in the pattern rather than from your body measurement alone.

Can I substitute the yarn?

Yes — match the gauge rather than the brand. Every pattern page lists the yarn I used, the hook size and the sizes it comes in, and the gauge is given inside the pattern itself, so any yarn that gets you that gauge will work. Do crochet the swatch; it’s the difference between a sweater that fits and one that doesn’t.

Can I sell items made from your patterns?

Yes, in small quantities with credit to the designer. Mass production and pattern redistribution are not allowed.

Can I share the pattern with a friend?

Please don’t. The pattern file itself stays with the person who bought it — sharing or reposting it is the one thing that isn’t allowed. If a friend loves it, send them the link instead.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final.

Are the free patterns really free?

Yes, genuinely free — seven of them, hosted on Ravelry, no purchase and no catch. They’re a good way to see how I write a pattern before you buy one.
